Great spot! Came up for a wedding at the Farm Road Estate across the street, but now I'm thinking we'll revisit in the future.
The location was next to a great tavern, and right down the road from downtown Wilmington. Lots of solid restaurant choices and breweries.
The Airbnb was perfect for our family. More than enough room with a fully stocked kitchen (with really good coffee), and comfortable beds/couches.
Rich and Nicky, you were great hosts and super responsive — thanks again!

This place is phenomenal on every level. The home is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The location in the small village is quiet and picturesque, but with everything you need in walking distance, or at least a couple minutes drive. We could have gone the entire trip and never left the block and been perfectly happy. We didn’t though, and the neighboring towns provide great restaurants and shopping and the surrounding area and byways provided all the scenery we could hope for. Even so, don’t look past the Inn next door, where we had our favorite meals. What stands out though are the hosts. They were communicative and responsive, even proactive, and offered great recommendations. It’s like they did everything they could to make the home and our trip perfect, then did just a little bit more.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Rich & Nicky’s place was wonderful for a last-minute getaway. The location was perfect. There was even a music festival across the way during our stay. We were able to sit out on the porch & enjoy the live bands — but then also enjoy peace & quiet once we went inside. We loved that it was pet friendly & so easy to get around. Rich & Nicky were such amazing hosts. Highly recommend their place if you’re staying in southern Vermont!

If I could give our stay a 10/5 stars, I would. Hands down the best Airbnb that we have stayed at. Everything was wonderful- super comfortable, felt like home and so many special touches to make your stay seamless. We were here for 8 weeks and had everything we needed and more. Nicky and Rich are definitely super host- they are so friendly and their hospitality is top notch. West Dover is a lovely area too. There are a lot of nice restaurants, breweries, cute little park with playground, a walking trail, hiking- all within a mile from the house. Overall, our stay couldn’t have been better. We will miss this little gem and hopefully make it back someday!

This is our second time at Rich and Nicky's place. They are extremely responsive and we love the home and the location. There is so much to do within walking distance and additional golf, hiking, kayaking, restaurants and biking are just a short drive away. We had to leave a day early and Rich and Nicky offered to refund the the day. For this reason and many more they are wonderful hosts.

This historic home was absolutely gorgeous, rich and Nikki were amazing. Absolutely sweet respectful kind they made us feel right at home. We will definitely be coming back and staying! This was one of my favorite places! Thank you, Rich and Nikki for an amazing experience

Big thank you to Rich & Nicky, their place was gorgeous, spacious and comfortable for my parents, sister and our dogs. We felt right at home. They were very responsive and helpful throughout the weekend, a pleasure to communicate with. House was a 5 min drive to Carinthia, 9min drive to Wilmington. We took their recommendation and had my 40th birthday/easter brunch at the Sawmill just across the street, delicious. Went to the Alpenglow Bistro the night before for dinner, we couldn’t be more pleased with the dining options this stay. Was happy to have skied this late in April in southern, VT as well! Would highly recommend staying at the 1827 House when visiting Mount Snow and the surrounding area. High end features like the towel drying racks were an added bonus and the espresso machine was a hit! Will definitely be booking again!

Great place to stay, surrounded by numerous great restaurants. Home was very warm and inviting, amazing old floors. Very comfortable bed and linens, well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Easy parking. Rich and Nicky were exceptionally responsive.

What an incredible and historic home! Conveniently located across the street from Farm Road Estate and many downtown eateries. The home has been recently updated with latest appliances. Excellent communication from Rich and Nicky. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
